I love weapon skins, but just a random question about them. Why is it when you pick up a weapon that spawned in Arena (like you picked up a BR that no one else did) but its just the default skin?
Because it would look silly the weapon texture changing mid-pickup.
Reqs are meant for Warzone only.

Its the same reason why if you pick up someone else gun in warzone or arena it has their skin on it, it spawns default.
Yeah but still like when you first pick it up I think it would be cool if you would have your weapon skin, it wouldn’t change gameplay at all

The skins are in Arena as well, but it has to be your loadout weapon.

Still haven’t gotten a weapon skin yet. Should I be looking for them in gold req packs or keep buying up the silver packs?
My luck with weapon skins and visors is bad.

Keep going with silvers. you’ll find the uncommon and rare skins in those.
To me the Vengnece skin for the AR looks like a Super Soaker. Anyone else think that?

It’s bc Bungie needs you to play their uber-fun new game mode warzone. As far as skin changing while picking it up, I think the community can agree that it’s better than just having default skins, but to each his own I suppose.
