I’d love to see 343 implement attaching skins to picked up weapons. I primarily play area so the only skins I see are AR and magnum which renders all other skins useless in arena. We are in ‘next gen’ so it should be able to be done.

plus that would take ALOT of coding to render your skin EVERYTIME you pick up a weapon with a different skin

It’s a simulation in-game, doesn’t mean they can simulate 10 paintjobs on one gun through the course of the game. 343 and bungie both felt the need to explain things canonically so as to enhance suspension of disbelief

They’re 500 years in the future, and it’s already established that they have access to nanotechnology.
Every time a Spartan picks it up, the surface of the gun reconfigures itself on a nano-scale to reflect light at different wavelengths.
Alternatively, some kind of flexible screen technology. We already have the technology to make flatscreen displays that are paper thin and flexible.

I agree that they won’t. Probably way too much coding. I’m just saying it would be awesome if it was in the game. Maybe halo 6
No game does that though, not even CoD which had weapon skins before this…
I like picking up other peoples stuff. So I vote no.
