I really don’t want to see people running around with a rainbow BR, or a polka-dot DMR. I want digital skins, or tiger skins, or even just skins to change the entire color of the gun, but not something ridiculously childish that makes you face-palm every time you see it.
Thoughts? What kind of skins would you want to see?
I don’t mind the skins either way. Gears 3 has a great variety and while your concern of childish looking skins is understandable, you wont even notice them after a while.

They should have skins that cater to the population as a whole.
I for one would just prefer a Team-Color skin that changes the metal on the gun to your team’s color.
But others might prefer all Purple, or a Rainbow. And others a more traditional Camouflage. To be brutally honest I’d rather NOT have digital Camo because it looks really bland.

I want a shotgun skin that says “Zombie Killer”
I wouldn’t mind steam punk lettering or numbering. Some armors look great in matte black and a white painted number or saying applied to the back, shoulder, or whatever. Also I wouldn’t mind holographic face plates like Reach’s Haunted Helmet only with some variations or numerous types of scratch art akin to Emil’s helmet.

I really hope they do some kind of ‘Legacy’ skins, so that you could make the AR look like the one from Reach as well as the DMR and the BR from H3.
If you had played them and they were on your gamertag, then you should be able to unlock them, just like the nameplates in Reach.

I’m hoping the skins are more like patterns like stripes or fiber glass rather than camouflage patterns. I also reckon it would be cool if we could design our guns pattern with a similar method to black ops emblem creator of cause with a limited to keep it from looking ugly
I don’t mean to be like the killjoy here but in the videos i’ve seen from officials or Designers and creators of H4 They are saying they want the game to <mark>be Unique in it’s own way</mark> and be like no other halo game before it
see the part i highlighted, yeah if CoD fans get wind of this they are gonna try and deminish Halos population even more by copying it’s ideas. no i for one would be interested in seeing what they can do with it and if they will do it and put it as a DLC but i don’t think i’d be too much of a fan for it
