Is one better than the other when it comes to your aim?
Not really no. However, I noticed that I play better when I’m comfortable with my cosmetics setup (yeah I know it’s weird). But keep in mind that I’m very picky when it comes to cosmetics…
I mostly have the Sticker Shock cause it doesn’t have me pulling hair out of my head trying to find good Skins

Holy crap, black on the Ar actually looks very nice, I’ll absolutely beg for 343 to add Black weapon skins to the pool

They probably won’t but we can hope for the best
I don’t believe it affects your aim but when you look at your weapon like your armour you want it to be cooler better looking and more intimidating then everyone else’s kinda like rounding a corner and you see a enemy with rockets and you know that feeling of oh I’m dead and nothing I do will change it

Plus when someone picks up your weapons from your body to replace their dry ones they can go “oh hey, this guy’s got a sweet gun skin!”

If anything, weapon skins can serve as an indicator to the player’s personality. Even the default skins can be regarded as “straightforward”, “dependable”, etc. In the case of the special 343 skins, that would mean something very special.
I like Azure Dream and Green Machine the most, but I have no idea if they really affect my performance. If they do, I believe it’s very subtle. I’ve kind of had trouble with the skins. I can’t stand most of them because they look cartoooney or wacked out as can be. Like the fries or I think there’s one called faded. I’m probably going to restore my guns to default skins now lol.

That black AR looks sick! I would definitely use that if it was a skin.

Very photogenic as well! 
The Magnum is OK, but the rest of the UNSC loadout weapons have to a gray/silver colour, including black.
I’d like for the SMG, BR and DMR to be fully black, they’d look better IMO without the other colours.
