A random idea I had: basically, a weapon skin that details the inner workings of the weapon (probably something along the lines of this) within a transparent (Plexiglass, maybe?) shell. Pointless, but pretty cool to look at.
Awesome idea is awesome.

Animating it mostly. However, I doubt the 343i employees actually know what the inside of most of their guns look like either.

That’s not to say they lack artistic talent. Besides, it doesn’t need to be animated.
