Weapon proficiency medals glitched?

As generic of a medal they are, I know I have gotten more than 3 shotgun kills and I have many Hydra kills etc…
What gives?

Same problem here. I’ve gotten many hydra kills, Scattershot kills, a few supercombines from the needler and a couple of sword kills yet nothing on my profile.

I’d like to know this as well. Maybe it’s not arena games?

(edit) - I just took a look at my game history and medals from each. It looks as if specific weapon kills in the weapon proficiency medals are only awarded for Warzone.

Not sure if this is a glitch, but it seems unlikely to be deliberate…

Have tested only appears in warzone and only takes effect if you do not get another relevant medal. Example: getting a sniper headshot with beamrifle will prevent you from getting beamrifle kill medal.
