Weapon Pad Randomization

In testing so far, I noticed that there are two different variants of the maps, which changes the weapons on the pad on that map variant, which I though was a great way of changing up the map without a update, but why not take it further? I suggest the pad has a random power weapon spawn each time the pad has a weapon spawn, example of this is at the start of the match, the pad has a sniper, the second spawn has a gravity hammer. Another way of having the change is having a weapon pool set that work well with the map. Just a though I had that could change up gameplay on the map and would keep each time playing fresh.

They tried that in halo 4 and is wasn’t a very popular choice. Set spawns work better and the predictability is desired.

I don’t mind the current setup of maps having spots for specific groups weapons to spawn that are set the whole match. If I had to guess though this is only for testing and the full game will likely be more traditional with maps having specific setups.

Yeah i prefer it staying the same. I can see why you thinking the opposite might be cool but thats just making it that much harder another thing to keep track for when things spawn.

It could work in Fiesta, as weapons are randomized in that mode
