Some new players may not know that the weapons in halo have nicknames we all call them. Here is a list of a few nicknames we all call the weapons. Note that I did not put the obvious ones like rockets, hammer, or sword. I also named ones from the older games as well. And please note some of these nicknames like pink mist were dubbed by bungie, and that the bi ri and incinerator were given by 343. some have multiple nicknames like the plasma grenade and the plasma pistol. Yes these are a real thing and I have been hearing them online since halo 2
Plasma grenade = Snowballs/srickies
Frag grenade = pinaples
Pulse/splinter grenade = stars
Battle rifle = BR
Assault rifle = AR
Plasma rifle = PR
Storm rifle = SR
Binary rifle = Bi Ri
Needler = Pink Mist
Incineration cannon = incinerator
Plasma pistol = pp or emp
Brute shot = BS
Those are just a few of them but if your new and here any of these you’ll know what they mean.
Plasma grenades have always and will always be called stickies!
Other than AR and BR, I’ve never heard of any of the others. BiRi sound harder to say than the actual weapon name.
Pink Mist seems harder to say than Needler.

When we finally get a needle rifle we should all just scream out “UNICORN” when you get a kill with a headshot. I tried to make this a thing in reach. Took off in my own community kinda. Just awesome to turn your foe into a majestic mythical creature XD

My map callouts are great - “Over there, by that…big thing”, “2 coming down from top thing”, “1 guy on our rock…”.

I normally shout, “There’s two by me!” or, “Yo! Lookout!”. I’m useless on a team, much better solo. 
For DMR I always say “Dreamer” in gameplay (less syllables to say it). When someone is using camo I always callout “There is an inviso-dude over here” or “Enemy has inviso”
The only ones I actually use are AR, BR, and EMP because they’re so much easier to say.

DMR: DMR (Pronounced Duh-Mer)
Covenant Carbine: The Bean (or just Bean)
Beam Rifle: Beam
Fuel Rod Gun: FARG
Needler: Noobler
Pulse/Splinter Grenade: Popcorn or Chicken Nugget
Light Rifle: LR (Or Lrr "Ruler of the Planet Omicron Persei 8")
Incineration Cannon: Incineremna-humna-bumna-gunma-jumna-flumna (I have dumb friends)
Hydra Launcher: Hydor
Plasma Caster: Plasma Lawn-Chair or Plasma Crossbow
i have played since 2003 and have NEVER heard any of those (excluding the obvious)
the first time i heard someone call the PP anything other than PP was the EU quals and the announcers called it the “green gun”
