Man im telling you these commendations are brutal to get! I just completed the spartan laser that -Yoink- took forever! What weapons are you guys having trouble with?? and if you can shed some light to help others out on how to get kills with the weapons of their hardship.
I think a lot of people finished these when the Super Fiesta playlist was running. Spartan Laser took me the longest to get too (before the fiesta playlist). I finished the incineration cannon the easy way though (my last weapon commendation)…

Man Spartan laser Suxs. Barely on 2/5:/
It’s commendable if you have weapons mastery, I don’t know if I have the patience to just keep trying forever , plus I probably don’t have your skill level . So congratulations.

Spartan Laser is hard to kill other players with because it is supposed to be used against heavy vehicles. There are not too many arena maps with both the scorpion, wraith or mantis and the spartan laser where the heavy vehicles are an important strategy for victory.

I’m done, I finished SPlaser last, but I would say the boltshot was the hardest for me. I was calling in two or three a match at the end to try and get those last 50 or so kills.
Im working on plasma casters. But im afraid I’ll lose it so i end up being to areful and only get 1 or 2 kills because i keep hiding. Unless its white scar which i did very well with but i don’t have the cert. For it.
Reach Splaser was best splaser, It was designed to be an anti-vehicle weapon and its transition into 5 is just awful…

Did you even play halo 3?
I’m done with weapons. I only have breakout commendations and one SH commendation left, but I don’t think I’ll ever get the breakout ones done since I hate that gametype.
Super Fiesta was your friend with this - I completed every weapon commendation through this fairly easily, with the exception of the Spartan Laser, of which I have 23 kills left I believe… shouldn’t be too difficult with some more WZ and BTB!

Spartan Laser was the last for me (well I don’t have SPNKR yet). I found BTB the best way to get Spartan Laser. Best is on CTF, grab the laser right away and splaser the other team who invariable jumped in a warthog right away for an easy double/triple kill.
Almost done with weapon commendations, just need a couple more SPNKr kills, I could’ve finished it a long time ago, if I wanted to, but I just like to use the AD VICTORIAN.
Need a ton of Arena commendations, cause I play Warzone 80% of the time, and 19% on customs, so 1% on Arena. 
Oh man I’ve got mostly unsc weapons finished but I don’t pull out req weapons a lot I stick mostly to loadout weapons when I play warzone, thats my main mode. But I try to pull out one a match if I feel I’m in a good game where I can get the kills.
Excellent feedback guys! Any pointers that you could shed to help the new guys coming into the game how would explain the mechanics and easier ways to get it done.
The Suppressor. Haven’t gotten around to using it, really.

I did but frankly in terms of handling and design I prefer Reach’s varient
I still need the mastery for;
- Spartan Laser ( 49 kills to go ) - Beam rifle ( 12 kills to go ) - Plasma Caster ( 14 kills to go ) - Suppressor - Boltshot - Binary rifleI’m glad that I’ve got the rest of them done!
i finished my weapons months ago. the last one i needed was plasma caster but they buffed it significantly since then

Go into WZ Assault on the attacker side. When you start attacking an armory pull out any variant of plasma caster. Aim into the armory and shoot. Kill everything.
