Well I just got the Weapon Mastery Commendation completed (you have to max out on all power weapon commendations) but what I got for it didn’t make sense. You see when you get the power weapon commendations done for each individual species (Covenant, Forerunner, and UNSC) you get a cool ultra rare emblem. You would figure that if the Weapon Mastery Commendation requires you to master all weapons you would get a Legendary if not Ultra Rare emblem right? No, I got a Rare emblem called Chief’s Crest. Which looks really weak compared to the emblems for the other Power Weapon Commendation. Where is the logic? It doesn’t make me mad its just weird how the hardest weapon commendation in the game gives you a Rare emblem while the others give you Ultra Rares.
Since the emblem isn’t unlocked through the REQ system, it doesn’t matter what rarity it is. You not liking how it looks is on you though.
Yeh doesnt make sense. I thought it would have been a legendary. But at the end of the day, you can only get that emblem from that one req pack, so it doesnt really matter what rarity it is.
Yeh a lot of emblems are pretty bad for what you did for them. But yeh the rarity is irrelevant.
And there’s no way of telling what you did for the emblem once you have it.
Most of the emblems don’t make sense or look good, I’ve used the same emblem since day one. Kind of depressing in a way.

Ya that is true its just kind of weird that they even gave it a level of rarity
Does it really mater the rarity of the emblem or that it looks cool?
If rarity is important to you, stick to the rank emblems. If it’s esthetics go with what you like. I usually switch out for holidays and such. I agree it could have been a nicer emblem.

Yeah when I got it I was slightly disappointed, but I got other emblems, so it’s alright in my book.

I understand that it comes down to opinion on the looks and that the rarity doesn’t matter but thats what I am talking about. Whats the point of giving them rarity? And if they are why set it up in a way that doesn’t make sense. Im not mad about it, its just something in the game that popped to me.

The rarity truly doesn’t matter its just weird how they set it up (as I explained in the forum post) other than that the looks come down to opinion. I just expected more from the emblem, it just looks so plain to me. For doing something that not necessarily hard but is a bit annoying, I felt like I should get something decent in the end but like I said this falls on opinion.
