Until a single one of you can mention the words ‘Xbox Live’ or ‘Online’ the next time the ‘Weapon Lowering’ question is asked at a Halo panel, I’m going to feel the downer feeling alongside many others out there and sheer disappointment in the person who asks a question in such a poor manner that you forgot to mention what the entire point of the question was.
Everyone and their mother knows we can lower our weapons.
It’s a recurring theme, if you couldn’t tell.
What we don’t know is whether we’ll ever be able to do this over ‘Xbox Live’ or ‘Online’ or what have you.

What’s your take on the future of Halo Machinima?
Since late 2010, around the launch of Reach, Halo Machinima in general took a massive nose-dive in to oblivion. That’s from what I’ve seen anyway.
Reach was too gray and devoid of colour, which may have been what put off peoples’ inspirations to make something out of Reach.
If lowering your weapon is still locked to local, then I hope they get rid of the stupid little button combo. Also, I don’t think the ‘lack of colours’ was Reach’s problem (personally I thought Reach’s colours were just fine, Halo 3’s gave me a headache after a while), it was the Armoury. Local players could not get armour like they could in Halo 3. Not to mention that unlocking armour took a long time.
I always wanted to make my own movie or something, like the Roosterteeth guys. But, I never bought a CC, and it would cost money to buy bungie pro and go through all the loops to just send something on youtube. This was way back during Halo 1-2!
If 343 had the rendered video system like bungie did, but free… o.0
Oh, but youre talking about lowering weapons over Live. Why don’t you just grab a second controller or something, hook it up and bobble your heads? lol
