Hi, I was just wanting to bring up an idea to help with a Machinima that’s being done over Xbox LIVE. I was just hoping that if 343i has time, they could maybe be able to implement this, unless it’s not possible for some reason, I just wanted to bring it up. It’s not that important right now but I just want to give an idea to 343i if they have time.
Many players have been asking for this.
If 343 has the time and resources, they should be able to get this in Halo Xbox One.

I honestly wouldn’t see why not, as I have no knowledge on why they wouldn’t be able to implement this. If they can’t, then they can’t, but if they can, I’m all in for it. It would make machinimas a hell of a lot more easier to make, since most people I know on Xbox, are people I don’t know in real life. It would be funny though at the same time, if we just have random people in matchmaking running around with their weapons lowered.

I still dont understand why we cant in the first place. It’s not like people would be dumb enough to this casually during a match only to be shot…
It would make machinimas SO much more convenient to make via custom matches instead of just local/lan
And it shouldn’t require you to press some elaborate button combination either, none of this ‘hold LB and RB, crouch, jump, down…’ nonsense. I see no logical reason why people shouldn’t be able to do this. Even in Matchmaking. It might be a problem if there was no raise gun delay for weapon recognition reasons but even that is a week argument. If it was treated as it is with sprint it would only be a disadvantage and as such wouldn’t be a problem.
If you press down on your d-pad you should lower your weapon. If you want to raise your weapon you need only to press down again or press the RT or melee, or something, just like with dropping the flag in classic Halo.
And if you press up it should activate a flash light. How I miss the flashlight.
I never understood why we couldn’t do it. It would nice to finally be able have it online instead of having to go to local or lan.
I want it back. It would help me to try for the screenshot spotlight.
A special gametype setting is all that should be needed to enable it. There should be no risk of BXR this way.
