Only powerful guns need it. Sniper, Skewer, and I guess the Shock Rifle. The pulse Carbine isn’t strong enough, and it already has the bullet trails. It’s laughable that the BR and Commando have them.
No way. all it does is keeps talentless casuals in the game so they can spend money on overpriced cosmetics.
i’m fairly certain OP prefers to stand still while sniping instead of being smart… and same for the people saying glare makes it noob friendly…
As nice as it would be, the receiving end would be garbage. Getting rid of it for every single precision weapon would be nice though.
I agree, the glare is annoying. You can’t scope in btb without being team shot. Also it can kind of hide the enemy behind the glare which is annoying to headshot
God I wish there was a team snipers playlist still so I could make you eat those words off of a platter made of shame over and over until you didn’t turn your console on for a week.

Haha yeah., rich imagination you have there… It’s called being strategic and repositioning. Considering you rely on training wheels like flashing lights every time someone raises a scope, I doubt you would even last a full game of team snipers before quitting and pouting for the rest of the day.
I have mastered the AR Sidekick combo and it’s reload time is snappy fast.
I do a burst with the AR and just drill every shot like I hardly miss with that thing.
Plus I have the Halo Infinite elite series 2 controller so one of my back paddles is the Y button, basically switching weapons and reloads are almost instant without having to remove my hands from one part of the controller mid fight

yes either remove glare completely or at least remove it from the BR, it’s unecessary.
Nah it’s garbage and has zero reason to bein the game. Especially on normal rifles.

I’m good with it. Adds a layer of fun to the descoping mechanic when you are exchanging BR or stalker rounds at range.
Which is to say, it’s an interesting way to let players not only know when a player is scoped, but also when they’re not.
But, y’know, if it’s game breaking to you I can highly recommend the MCC.
It’s a good feature. It prevents snipe campers.
I’d hear the argument to remove it from Tac Slayer. It’s not really serving the “descope me” function since most hits are single hit kills, thus it’s just a “kill me” beacon. Aside from that tho, scope glint is fine.
How would positioning even remotely impact anything if anyone will see a bright light where you’re at? Did you even think before commenting?
On one hand it helps balance the power of the long distance weapons.
But the other way of thinking about it… if the sniper was any good you’d be dead already. So if you can see the glare and get out of the way - they didn’t deserve the chance of a second shot.
PS. I’m not a sniper’s left ingrown toe-nail.

If it just let the person in the sights see the glare that would be one thing, but the sniper flare is practically a miniature sun for all to see and not a glint. I’d rather they not have it in the game, but if they’re going to have, I think it should be dialed way back and only for the one shot power weapons. Maybe a tiny one with the stalker
