In halo 4 when a weapon was dropped, they disappeared very quickly. Is this the same in halo 5 because I found this feature very annoying.

It’s not that long actually. A bit similar to Halo 3’s despawn time.
Never really noticed, I was always picking up BRs & DMRs so I think its good. Even picked up a DMR with 2 rounds left.
The weapons’ despawn time is quite long, unlike Halo 4. This is a good thing.
