343 really needs new weapon sound and designs in Halo5 Guardians. Yes we are still in beta but I honestly don’t see some designs like the sniper and shotty being changed, which are in my opinion complete garbage they use the same weapon designs as Halo4 as well as sounds and anything that reminds me of Halo 4 im not gonna like. But hey, maybe they will come out with new ones like H2A did when in E3 they showed off Zenith with the sniper and it was H4 design, then at launch it had a badass blue Halo reach styled scope. For the sniper in Halo 5 I hope they use something similar to Halo3 or Halo reaches design, but perhaps a different color like yellow or clear on the scope, as for the shotty they need to add color highlights in the weapon and make it sound Lethal, but these are just my opinions.

They have already stated that there will be brand new sounds for the weapons and vehicles when the game releases. Calm down. (plus the shotgun sounded and looked powerful in Halo 4)
Plus, the weapon designs are fine. It’s not like you won’t use the weapon because you don’t like how it looks or sounds.

That’s too bad that you don’t like Halo 4. Unfortunately because you don’t like Halo 4, doesn’t mean that 343i is going to revert everything back to Halo 2/3 because of your personal preferences. They’re moving forward, not backwards with new experiences and fresh views on everything.
Lastly, “Complete Garbage”? Could you at least try to make an actually argument instead of a one-off blanket statement to get rid of something you don’t like? I don’t understand why people just call something “Garbage” or “Trash” instead of actually articulating WHY they don’t like something.

Yeah, I’m not wild about a few of the designs. The DMR in H5 looks significantly worse than the H4 variant. I loved that one. The Sniper is still pretty ugly, I really liked the Reach and H2A versions of that. The BR? I go back and forth. Part of me likes it, but not the scope on the base variant.

Can you imagine? If a game developer was so easily persuaded like that?
As long as the BR doesn’t sound like a chorus of crickets, I will be happy. That was my only complaint about audio in H4.
Did you even watch the sound design vidoc? They got fired at by REAL GUNS just to get bullet whiz effects. Like it or not, these are what guns actually sound like.

Yup. It’s much more realistic, so the OP doesn’t like realistic sounding weapons.
I like the designs and sounds. Halo 4 had some nice sounds and some bad ones in my opinion, but Halo 5 seems to correct many of the sounds I do not like in Halo 4. For example, explosions and the BR have a huge sound improvement in Halo 5 over Halo 4. The only sound I do not like in Halo 5 so far from what I heard are the phantom turret sounds. Sounds exactly like Halo 4, with that fake sounding concussion rifle pew pew sound. Ugh that sound is awful and I hope 343 changes that one.
As for weapon designs, I think they are an improvement. Makes them look more futuristic because the original Halo trilogy weapon designs, although nice, did not look futuristic at all.
