I recently played training and also social arena in tech preview today. I noticed the following :
It takes forever to kill someone with assault rifle. I would unload a full clip and then have to reload. Then continue just to kill him. Its like the bullets are marshmallows.
Same thing with the Pistol. Even in halo 1 c.e. , the pistol did not require a full clip lile these weapons do.
SOLUTION: PLEASE INCREASE DAMAGE FOR ALL GUNS. And/ or increase ammo capacity.
The Shoot shoot and then melee cant be the formula for each battle. I understand this is what makes halo different than other shooters but i think we need to remember that the spartans are military and if i am shooting an assault rifle, it should take them down with half a clip and little to spare for another , or increase ammo capacity per mag.
It feels like a nerf gun.

I would increase damage dealt per shot and also capacity. No one likes to unload full clips and reload for just 1 kill
Yea , disagree guys. Yes ive played Halo bungie. And played and own them all. Used to play in lan parties all the time. Ttk has to be lower or the power weapons rules it all. Thats not balanced. Im not saying make AR a 2 shot kill , but damn. A full clip and half? Not when im battling a duo or team of 3 .

Except it’s not a full clip in a half. AR kills in half a clip if you land your shots + headshots. It’s the strongest AR we’ve ever had in the franchise, with the best range and accuracythe weapon’s ever had to boot.
If anything the TTK is already a bit high. Never have I seen people use the AR as much as they do in Infinite, its finally a viable weapon. If the TTK would to remain the same I wouldn’t be upset, if it were faster, it would be detrimental and not halo anymore.
I dunno guys. Played again today. Just Takes too long to kill with the AR . I shouldn’t have to use grenades and melee each time i want a kill. Many agree with me. Theres no way its a half clip. What are yall using…cronus max on the controller? Lol
I still think the AR is shooting rubber bullets. It needs more power or larger capacity.
Got in a 1v1 battle today and spent a full magazine on the guy and so did he. Switch to the pea shooting sidekick? that sounds like a beebee gun. Or melee. We both ran behind cover just to reload.
All the weapons are great except these 2. Ar and sidekick.

You’re missing too many shots if you’re not dropping the enemy before reloading. Trust me, I do the same thing, but then on some 1v1s I land my shots and kill in a single magazine.
TTK is almost perfect. You shouldnt be able to kill more than one player with one mag of the AR. You should swap to your pistol to finish the job if you empty your gun. This is not CoD (im not saying thats a good or bad thing, the games are different)
And, as a side note, the AR is finally a reliable weapon… im impressed. And not starting everyone with the best weapon in the game (the BR) is a good thing too. Experiment and keep playing
