Weapon Damage Distrubtion

I don’t know why the Halo franchise hasn’t done this for every Halo game but, the post game carnage reports don’t tell you AND should tell you how much damage each person is dishing out with what weapons and what kind of damage is being dealt to you.

If 343i can track every single last landing shot with a weapon that awards players the kill, then they can easily track damage dealt. This way everyone has free public knowledge of how much grenade spamming and Boltshot spamming is being done without spending wasted time going into Theater.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m more interested in what is killing me rather than how many times I’m dying. This way 343i can make a judgement call of seeing what weapons are cheap and abused.

Yep. I’ve had games where I would rack up huge assists simply from someone walking in and taking my kill.

A game that understood a nifty post game stat tracker was Shadowrun. It showed damage dealt, etc.

As much as I am enjoying Halo 4 and loving every minute of it, Shadowrun is still the best shooter I ever played online. Quite the shame a sequel was never made. It did so much right: balancing weapons, pace of game, being able to straight up out think players during a game. Not to mention the strategy a team could do in a match is unrivaled by any other shooter since in my opinion.
