will someone help me with weapons kill faster with more acuaracey?
like wich would be the best of the listed weapons;

Light Rifle, Battle Rifle or DMR?

Storm Rifle, Assault Rifle, or Suppresser?

Magnum, Boltshot, or Plasma Pistol?

last question; can you stick someone with the pulse gernade?

It really depends on what you’re best at.

The Light Rifle has a 5sk, with the possibility of more due to it firing three rounds unscoped. However, It also fires a more powerful shot scoped in making it a 4sk. The DMR has a higher probability of getting the kill, but only if you can nail every shot. The BR is pretty much just a basic scoped weapon that is not good or bad at anything.

All I can tell so far about the automatic weapons, is that some have more ammo per magazine/overheat than others.

AR=32
Sup.=44
SR=Unknown

Magnum is predictable, reliable, and basic. Jack of all trades.

Boltshot allows a user to take out enemies in close range with a high ROF, and Shotgun overcharge ability.

Plasma Pistol is somewhat unpredictable with it’s limited tracking and slower bullet speed but is used as a support weapon to take out Shields and vehicles.

I’ll do my best.

BR is a weapon best used in mid-close range combat. It fires in a 3 shot burst and uses hitscan. 5 shot kill.

The DMR is a single shot weapon, very accurate at long ranges. 5 shot kill, I believe.

The Lightrifle acts as a hybrid. 3 shot burst out of scope, like the BR. Single shot in scope. I don’t remember the kill times, but I think I remember something like 5 shot out of scope and 4 shot in scope. Not sure though.

It really depends on playstyle. For accuracy, DMR probably wins, especially long range. For close quarters, the BR is a better choice unless you’re really good with the DMR. Lightrifle… pretty much in between. Depends on how you’re scoped.

I don’t know any kill times… but:

Assault Rifle: 32 shot clip, very powerful close range.
Storm Rifle: Very powerful and fast close range, it overcharges quickly with continuing fire, but if you’re hitting your shots that shouldn’t interfere.
Suppressor is similar to them. Powerful up close. I can’t remember anything else about it though… sorry.

So that really depends on your favored weapon, Human, Covie, or Promethean. I don’t recall any major differences.

Magnum: (8) size clip. It can zoom, and is pretty accurate in closer/mid ranges. Last I knew it was a 6 shot kill I think, as its meant as a secondary, cleaning up kills weapon.

Plasma Pistol: Same as usual, fast fire rate normally, but it overcharges. The overcharge shot is still similar with an EMP effect, but I believe the tracking is nerfed, not as much as it used to be.

Boltshot: Similar to the Plasma Pistol. Fast firing shots normally. I believe its a (10? )shot clip. There is an overcharge function. When you overcharge it, you can not hold it… it fires automatically. The overcharge shot fires a close range blast that is pretty powerful (so I heard). This shot takes up about half the clip.

I hope that helped. I’m not 100% certain on some of the information, but I think I got the main idea.

To your last question, no. Though, you can’t stick people with frags and that has happened in Halo 3 and Reach, so, it’s possible ahahaha. But, it’s function isn’t to stick.

As for your question which is best out of all the weapons. Can’t answer that for you, it’s up to personal preference. And the footage we’ve seen so far is subjective and not in a controlled environment.

When you get Halo 4, load up customs with an AFK player and test out the weapons for yourself. That way it’s much easier to compare which has a faster kill time, which is more accurate at what range, the rate of fire of each weapon, etc.

But ultimately, it comes down to you and your preference. For example, Light Rifle may have the faster rate of fire and kill time, blah blah blah, 4 shot kill, etc. But what if you don’t like how it handles when in a match? And you find that you get more kills with the BR?

Would you choose the statistically better Light Rifle, that nets you more deaths than kills, or the statistically worse Battle Rifle that you pwn noobs with?

lol ok, thanks guys
