weapon commendations not in spartan ops

Hi

Why aren’t weapon commendations unlocked in spartan ops? It would have been so much easier if the kills counted towards them in spartan ops.I certainly do not wish to spend hours trying to kill some one with a plasma pistol, especially in competitive multiply player. You could get vehicle kills in spartan ops and it would count towards vehicle commendations. Is there a fix for this, or can you get them in custom games?

The descriptions of the weapon commendations clearly states that you have to kill enemy Spartans. Since you don’t kill Spartans in Spartan Ops, it doesn’t increase. The only vehicle commendations to increase in Spartan Ops are the Wraith, Ghost and Banshee commendations.

Then everyone (who plays spartan ops) would have weapon mastery. It would be too easy

It would be a free pass if it included SpOps kills.
