So I have been seeing that 343 been adding weapons from previous halo games (such as the BR from H2, Magnum from CE, and, of course, the gravity hammer). and I been thinking, what if they brought in the jewels of the other halo games? Like the Brute shot, or Mauler, or concussion rifle. I could go on and on, and yeah, this is probably a ramble, but imagine those iconic guns that were amazing. like imagine having the Grenade Launcher from Reach and EMPing a Banshee out of the sky. or breaching a base with the Flamethrower, or even going ape with the Shotgun from CE (yes, they might have made a req card variant on this, but I haven’t checked). and not only they, they could even go the distance and add variants to them. Like, example, The Plasma launcher from Reach could have a quicker charge and fire 6 instead of 4. Again, I could go on and on about this, heck today I compiled a list of weapons, vehicles, and even throwables that they could add. BUT since this is just guns, I’ll have it to that. but anyways, I do hope 343 would add more guns from previous halo games…

Let them make some stuff thats NEW for once. We only got…what, three new weapons with 5? The Hydra, the Plasma Caster and the Splinter Turret.
I wanna see something new.
Too much nostalgia is not good, granted more brute weapons might be nice since we currently have no brutes to fight it wouldn’t make tons of sense as well
If they bring back the brute shot I will burn my neighbor’s house down in celebration. New weapons could be a lot of fun too, but it would be hard to make a gun cooler than the brute shot imo.

What about a double-barreled Brute Shot?
first of, the brute shot would be new to Halo 5…since it wasn’t in the game XD but I get what your saying. something totally new. and yeah, too much nostalgic stuff could be bad, but I just think it would be nice to have the guns from before, with added versions (like a double barrel brute shot, which sounds awesome)

I agree, they need to not only remake classics but also make new weapons. Though they just need to stop taking weapons out of the series and should’ve had this stuff at launch
Would love a lot of weapons to comeback but I wouldn’t mind new weapons taking priority. That or maybe they made a new weapon, didn’t show us until release and added two old weapons along side it.
Say the made a new close quarter weapon like a needler shotgun or something but kept it hidden, then told us they were adding the Plasma Launcher with variants and the Spiker with variants.
Did that every couple of months or something, even get us to vote. Maybe match the voting to the theme of the upcoming DLC

My exact thoughts. Create something new instead of bringing old stuff back.
343i is doing almost too much of fan service, IMO.
Flame thrower and incendiary grenades would be fun
The old stuff is great, more should be brought back! Personally, I’d love to see the flamethrower and Flood in an update. And Brute weapons with Brutes.
