I don’t really like the way weapons are balanced in Halo 5. I hear all the time how it’s the “most balanced game in the franchise” and how everything is finally useful", but to me making everything a killing machine == balance.
Precision weapons are fast and laser-accurate (leading to rampant cross-mapping on big maps), autos have more range and can tighten the spread with ADS, and grenades are certified Weapons of Mass Destruction. When all the guns are so accurate it lowers the TTK and makes the sandbox far less interesting, especially when theres so many guns that perform almost identically.
I prefer the slower pace of the Bungie games, hell even 4 post-patch felt better to me whenever I wasn’t being killed by a pocket shotgun. But that’s just me.

I think that’s just you… Joke aside, I don’t feel that way but you are certainly not alone.
