Weapon "Balance"

What makes a game balanced is different from person to person, but I think a widely agreed upon concept is that weapons of greater power should be more skill-demanding to use. That’s perfect balance in my eyes, but I see one problem: Halo 5 seems to have the opposite.

For example, the Battle Rifle is superior in every way to the Magnum, but is much more forgiving in shot registration and aim-assist.

This is just one of the major flaws I see with Halo 5. I really want to like this game, but it’s hard to with things like this and aiming.

the problem with those is that each one has its power in its own way assault rifle can beat an BR from a certain range. SMG is best up close, DMR is great from a distance, but the Magnum has always been a confusing one for me. It can do the stuff of all the other stuff, but at a lower level at times.
