Why does it feel different to use the Commando and sidekick? Commando feels nearky useless and getting out gunned by a sidekick? Sidekick feels way more powerful than it really should. Hopefully they fix it befire release.
Thoughts, questions, concerns?
In my experience the Commando is meant to be used at a longer range than the Sidekick and the AR. At midrange it can shred enemies, but at close range you should use the AR or Sidekick or another close range weapon that you pickup on the map. It’s built like this so that we don’t have weapons that dominate at all ranges and that you should consider your weapon choice my explicitly when you have multiple weapons to choose from.

Problem was is that ive been using it as a mid-long range and still get out preformed by the sidekick even if i land 95% of my shots
The sidekick needs to be what it’s name implies, a “sidekick”, like not the main hero of a weapon that outclasses other power weapons. It should be something you finish an enemy off after unloading your primary into them and getting them near death. The commando can be a good weapon but it needs some work, right now there is almost no reason to switch the AR for it.
