I’m just going to keep doing this until this is corrected

343 fix the Assault Rifle. Make it better or nerf the pistol so it’s not the number one used gun. Make it where people stop using it as a primary weapon.

The game is over 5 years old. Unfortunately there won’t be a weapons update as support the game game has finished.

The magnum is the meta in Halo 5 wether you like it or not. You’re just going to need to adapt like everyone else had to.

Hopefully they don’t ruin halo infinite with this garbage

I doubt it’ll be the case. We’ve seen the BR in a trailer & the sidekick pistol in the gameplay trailer
343i have said their sandbox team is dedicated to making sure the weapon sandbox stays interesting.

Within the latest #Ask343 video they mention the sidekick pistol being similar to the Gunfighter magnum from Halo 5. Something to be used as a quick backup weapon rather than a primary offensive weapon.
As for the AR I imagine it’ll fit into its own role in Infinite. Being a steady auto weapon capable of downing enemies at a reasonable pace.

I never had trouble in halo 5 with the weapons and I’m rank 150.

AR isnt bad at all, I think Halo 5 AR is the best AR in all other Halo games compared with his respective “meta” weapon

I agree, the AR in Halo 5 is the best out of any other Halo title.

Even if the magnum was nerfed or the AR was buffed there are other weapons that would be used more unless the AR is given the range of a DMR.
