Weapon attachments possibly confirmed?

So I was looking around at different sites to see what they have to offer in term of preorder bonuses. I then found, on the JbHiFi, australia, page, an assault rifle skin, and a recoil dampener attachment as a bonus.

If all weapons get attachments like this, what do you guys think? Personally, its ok in terms of customization, but in terms of Halo, I dont like it. First kill cams, weapon skins, now its attachments. Nothing original, its all coming from others games imo.

Judging by the Warzone info that has been dropped over the past few weeks, weapon customization is in the game in the form of variants. You can unlock variants of guns that have different attributes than the base model, such as the BR with scope and increased accuracy, and them select them to use in Warzone. Only in Warzone, though.

According to 343 this is not full weapon customization like you see in other games, just choosing from a list of variants, similar to skins in Halo 4.
