Weapon animation

As is customary in halo games and in almost all of them, the animations that are made when you stop playing for a moment is a very good detail, so what kind of animations would you like to see or what would you like me to do? the spartan

Would be cool to see your Spartan eject the magazine, check the ammo count, then re-insert the magazine.

I know we have digital ammo counters, but the act of visually checking the ammo count would make sense logically since it is drilled into military personnel that technology can and will fail at the worst possible times.

Also is directly mentioned in the books a few times.

John could even pull out Cortana’s empty data chip

In the demo there was a slight animation during some portions where Chief is just walking around where he kind of fidgets the AR in his hand a little. I would like to see an animation where the player puts the weapon down after not moving for a time. A weapon inspect animation that is triggerable would also be a neat feature.

I’d definitely like to see something a bit more engaging than some of the Halo 5 animations where they just angle the gun and glance over it.

One of my favourite’s from Halo 5 is the SMG, it’s intricate and cool. I’d love to see Infinite animations go that extra mile to really interact with unique elements of a weapon.
Checking the magazine, adjusting a scope, checking the chamber or pressing a button on a weapon.

Only reason I don’t see super complex animations being built is because you don’t really see them all that much in normal gameplay.

And then, as is the universal rule of USB, it takes a minimum of 3 goes to get back in the right way up.

I’d love some rare ones that are kind of silly. Letting the SPNKR rockets spin for a little while, turning the camera feed on the sniper backwards for a moment, literally flipping the BR ala Terminator. Pushing the buttons on the Hydra was always kind of funny to me. Honestly Halo 5 had some solid and entertaining idle animations

Hahaha quite.

Unless it’s USB-C

The occational gag animation would be good to add some levity, i can get behind the idea.

USB-Cortana… coincidence?? hmmmmmmm

Showing off unique features of the weapons is a must, much like how the player would pop open plasma weapons in past Halo games to inspect the battery directly.

Take advantage of these animations to give us information about how weapons function internally, or in some cases just do cool Easter eggs.

Ahahahaha. Awesome. I think not!

Well done sir

My favorite animations is for the promethean weapon when the spartan inspects it and it all changes form. I hope they do something similar with other weapons too like open up magazines, batteries and components to look the inner workings.

wi

Have a look at the magazine of the weapon and check your armor or something like that.

Seeing your hands something like it happens in halo 5 right? or so I understood

Say your Spartan pulls out a knife and spins it on his/her finger?

Yeeah, there you go Spartan, there you go.

I’d love for that to happen.
