Good, Flood based levels have terrible design anyways (I.E Cortana, The Library etc).
Then that means this new enemy is going to take up a lot of focus for the UNSC. The Flood could be teamed up on by all other factions. That is less likely to happen now.

GOOD! I hate the Flood they’re annoying! I don’t mind the creepiness in the games but man they’re just annoying! Thank you CEA for the Bandana skull to let me take my anger out on the Flood by chucking grenades like crazy.
Flood was great and terrifying in the CE; gravemind made them kinda interesting again for 2/3; but I won’t miss them. They wouldn’t have the same effect again, and would feel fairly lame if we had to again destroy whatever planet/system we’re in to prevent the spread of the flood.

tbh, I’m taking it with a grain of salt.
Of course, I can certainly imagine a scenario where we don’t fight any flood in H4, but we shall see.
Don’t worry, we still have Halo 5 and 6.
