We will ever see This?

Default Multi=player AI’s with set difficulty in Halo 4.

Meaning I load up a Custom Game, No friends on, want to verse some AI where I can set difficulty to easy through legendary or etc. Make it so I have x amount. So I can train for BTB, or a 1 on 1, or grif, or etc.

Under options, have it set to friends/enemies.

ENEMIES: X
FRIENDS: X

if no friends, they’ll spawn ai’s to aid your fight.

This is not a cod suggestion, as if it were, I’d say make it COD. Also, the difficulty could go past legendary by percentage, 100% = normal, 50% = easy, Heroic = 150%, %200 = legenary, can turn on skulls like a campaign function, Similar to FF, except you could make it verse x amount of people is what I want.

So people can have fun without having friends.

Maybe for future halo title or hopefully this one as I’m not buying a new console to play halo 5, 6, 7, 8, 3000, or whatever it may or may not be called. Now I might buy a future title if it stays on xbox 360 slim.

This would extend halo’s play-ability, Life-span,selling date, & etc.

Also, this would also be able to add a use to the User Data as it has no use right now. Place a spawn point, put User Data 1 for team red, or neutral for no team, & it’d spawn an AI. Its relatively simple idea really. Then 343i could create a Game variant of setting that Ai up to whatever & It’d save into the game variant you want.

Good, bad, I don’t like, improbable (get out of here pessimist) Me want no, (get outta here demander) etc etc.

I will try to find the thread, but I thought of this idea awhile ago. There should be preset AI’s as well. A team of Bravos, or Walshy, Pistolas, Ghandis. Or combos of them all. Imagine being able to build a map, and then play vs. pros. IT WOULD BE AWESOME!

I was hoping for the same thing.

But then I started thinking that they won’t work on custom forge maps with custom rules such as Demolition Durbey, Indiana Jones, or things along those lines.

Maybe they can put them in on the default maps though.

Fighting AI teams from MLG? That sounds like it could end up being a Community challenge if the AI were done properly.

EDIT: Imagine if the game could scan your play style and recreate an AI player of you based on your play style. That would be awesome.

That would be awesome & sorta creepy, then the AI would always be where you would be taking your kills…;(

You have to admit this would be a nice way to find out how much of a pain in the -Yoink- you are to take out. :smiley:

True, then we all be super soldiers anyway after taking ourselves out. :wink:

This would probably only work on the default game modes, but yes, Bots have been a pretty good feature of many Shooters over the years.

That said, I’m not sure the current gen 360 can take them, and make them challenging to play at the same time. Perhaps the Durango may offer something along these lines in more Halo titles.

I’ve been hoping for bots in Halo since CE. I was spoiled with N64’s Perfect Dark, and that had a very wide range of AI’s to pick from (and unlock).

They would only work with default maps though, that’s the only thing. I remember dreaming up something similar in Reach when I asked if the Firefight maps were compatible with forge. Many sad times were had.

I added a way it could be done in halo 4, its just a simple run of making
megalo useful is all, & they have room, where is that post i asked about User Data now, they said it was there for future if needed. Game variant could be battle of bots, suffice you couldn’t do it online, nor with friends, but it’d still be a good way to do it.

So you know with that saying means they could of added bunches more to the game & etc.

Oh dear… I just got the image of two teams of 8 filled with AI bots trying to drive Warthogs around Valhalla… It’s quite a terrifying thought…
