A Ranked Doubles playlist across all the games makes to much sense for 343 to add permanently.

lol I have a feeling they are listening to these forums much closer than we think. No one wants to make this right as much as they do, as it should be of course. They didn’t even make a new game and they still screwed it up, but I think they might throw a few DLC’s our way or something, and who knows, maybe double team will be around longer than you think.
