…But we refuse to have colored undersuits. Because, you know, can’t be realistically blending in or anything.
Though black does sure look stylish.

Gee, my flaming red undersuit sure blends in with them shadows far better than a deep matte black.
I agree, we need Reach style armors. Not the helmets that look like Keurig brewers. Also can’t we get camo colour schemes for armor?

Well, thats another argument entirely. Thats just for the team vs team, multiplayer fun. But you probably don’t actually customize your spartan like that if your going for realism. My point being… people say the word “realistic” for how the armor should look but 343 does something to the undersuit that does make sense but its hated on. Now I’m not saying that I don’t like black more.
For me I would love to see a lot more armors similar to the Nightfall armor style. With all the gear and such I feel like I am preparing for a true fire fight.

But people dislike the coloured undersuits from a purely aesthetic perspective, just like how they dislike the armour. We don’t complain about coloured undersuits not being “realistic”, we complain about them looking bad. They drown out the actual armour, and make the Spartans look like a mess of colour. There’s no reason why anybody needs to go and make this more complicated by arguing about the “realism” of coloured undersuits.
I mean… Realistically, would you have a Spartan wear bright pink or yellow armour? Or would you go wear some sort of camouflage to blend in with your surroundings? Clearly the latter, but we have the option to choose our own colour to look good. And again, look at stuff like Warhammer 40k, where people paint their armies in tons of bright colours. It’s not realistic, but it looks good.

Yeah, I hear you. I was just saying, if the color makes sense then it kind of makes it not such a big deal. I’ve been ignoring the unrealistic colors because that is someone’s personal choice to try looking realistic or not.
yes!! then halo might go back to being as popular as call of duty again!!
…atleast someone gets it sadly.
Dont care for realistic I do however want functional SciFi! You know like how reach and to a degree how halo used to look like.

It hasn’t been since Halo 2 /Cod 3.

Thats understandable. I agree completely, but more realism doesn’t hurt for me.
Yeah, realistic armour like the pink squad we used to have in Reach! That blends in so much better! While I dislike a lot of the armour and wish there was more customisation, I actually quite like the direction of the new armour, if the incorporated more options for old armour. Artistically, it’s pretty representative of the lore. The new armour is abundant, easy to make and worn by Spartans often not seen as true Spartans by the old hands. The new armours represent a new age of plastic copy paste Spartans being pumped out, unlike the old hands which took cultivation and years of training. The armour has never been coloured for camouflage, having been used more for squad identification- Red Team, Kat and Carter from Noble Team. Like how the elites don’t colour armour for camo, but to distinguish rank.

Lol, I remember getting on Reach FFA with my 3 brothers and making us all wear pink to work as a team.

Haha once in Reach we got on chat and got an entire infection lobby to go pink, and run around teabagging everything. The -Yoink!- squad
