He’s saying that when input choices finally come it’ll spilt the playlist into 3 sub playlists which is why he thinks it’ll be too much for a lot of ranked playlists like we had in the past
I’m perfectly fine without cross play so I can stop dealing with aim bots when I’m on console

Same here. But what he saying is when that option does come to not have crossplay it’ll split the player base within one playlist therefore splitting it further if you keep adding playlists. I want a ton of ranked playlists but I do get what he’s saying. The modes have to be choosen carefully
There is a limit to how many playlists the game can support (based on population numbers) so having too many would not be ideal nor would too few.
It isn’t a black and white issue, its a grey area and the argument is what the exact sweet spot is.
Agreed. One of my favorite things about Halo was the journey of ranking up in each playlist.

I don’t care that much about ranked. But there are so many issues that shouldn’t even be issues that it hurts.
343 and microsoft couldn’t even do the pre-order bonuses right, what the heck happened?!

343 killed the concept of Halo for the sake of a worthless “live service game” that only benefits them financially. The truth here is, Halo fans got screwed over because 343/Microsoft took your money but added barley anything to this beta other then a hamster wheel and a shop.
Halo is no more and never will be with this new model. You can’t have the Halo experience with a company flying the game into the ground, it just doesn’t work.

Halo is back and this is it till Halo is dead saddly. Think about it, Halo Infinite is going to be around for ten years if not less the way it is now and my parents are going to pass away till then.
I imagine that there are very few people out there who actively don’t want more playlists, ranked or not. But are mor ranked playlists really a top priority right now?
I would think that desync issues and the social MMR fiasco are the top of most people’s request boards though. Like I would love ranked slayer to be added, but I definitely don’t want it more than I want technical optimization and desync issues corrected
If there are sperate teams then there shouldn’t be a priority issue.
There is nothing to work for in this game. I don’t like challenges or progressing the battle pass. All that’s left is ranked. I don’t come to Halo to play causally

Preach this louder please! We need multiple ranked playlists. Why is this still not a thing? 343 catered directly to HCS and not the game specifically. It’s been a struggle to this point. We the players need variety.

I am a Halo Traditionalist!! PERIOD! IMHO All the Halo Franchise needed was a FACE LIFT!! in all of the games. Why Everything else WORKED!!! We had Sparkedit that was used for Halo Combat Evolved as that our version of Forge. It was a pane in the butt but it worked! There are thousands and thousands of maps for Halo Combat Evolved, Halo CE, Reach, Halo 1- 4 etc etc.
Are there any Halo Traditionalist that even work at 343i? I mean how many developers of the Halo Franchise are still around since Halo Combat Evolved? I really like to know! If so I sure don’t see it in the way Halo Infinite is being developed. I don’t see any of the Traditional map that made Halo very popular! Example Of Maps: Bloodgulch, Sidewinder, Danger Canyon , Coagulation Last Resort, Valhalla just a few for starters!

I don’t really care about all the “technical” issues. I really just want to team up with a buddy, jump into a ranked playlist like team doubles or team slayer and watch my lame -Yoink!- move from silver to onyx…
I’m pretty basic as a person but that is classic halo… This is COD mixed with Fortnite… Behemoth is a great example of a failed 4v4 map.
