We Want Forge 3.0 and Dedicated Servers.

Plus the return of Custom Games, the way it was left off in Reach, plus every game type from every Halo game with double the settings for each. The community will never stop thanking you for this.

PS: Don’t forget to bring back a fully working Theater, so we can capture ALL of our greatest memories in this new game.

Dedicated Servers for every game or the new Halo itself?

I’m guessing on all of the halo titles that debut on xbox one. And I’ve also heard that all games on the xbox one will have dedicated server support, courtesy of microsoft.

That is true because how else could the Xbox one support 128 players.

According to Microsoft, every game will have dedicated servers. Thanks to the boost to 300,000 servers.

128? Amazon is nearly out of all their shipments, Gamestop ran out of day-one editions within the first day and Blockbuster has reported huge amounts of UK pre-orders.

It may not outsell the PS4 at first, or at all, but there will still be thousands of people getting Xbox Ones.

He meant 128 players in a game.

You realize dedicated servers are great , as long as you live close to them. The farther away you get the worse your lag.

Windows Azure is massive. Microsoft have data centres in North America, Asia, Europe etc.

Having dedicated servers doesn’t necessarily mean they will all be in the US (or anywhere else in particular).

Not worried about the country. Lets use the US for an example. If I am in Georgia , and the nearest server is in the Mid-west , or New England area, every one between me and the server will have less lag. There fore my game will have negative impact due my location and other players locations.

Dedicated servers still use the same internet and technology , and information only travels so fast.

Not entirely. I’m in Australia, and i can play on a dedicated server from the US(lets use BF3’s as an example) with no lag 99% of the time.
As long as they aren’t horrible dedis, then it’ll be perfectly fine for [almost] everybody.

Define Forge 3.0…

EDIT: Oh, you want campaign support, right? In that case, don’t worry about it. The only reason they ever had a problem with it in the first place is because they were working with the Reach engine. i.e. Not their own. Therefore, they ran into too many difficulties what with all the changes they made to it.

I want server browsers!
