We have 10 years of slowly released seasons and delayed updates.
At this rate it won’t even make it to 3.

There are obviously problems, however, at least the roadmap is realistic without burning everybody out, hopefully next year the seasons come out at a regular 3 month pace, or maybe re-assess it and do 4 months, stuff is being worked on including progression system.
I’d much rather know now, I’ll skip buying season pass this time, at least I’ll progress towards something at a slower pace.

Not only is none of them burnt out,
I’d suggest that they are barely toasted.
Frankly with the lack content and the worsening state of Multiplayer,
Its one thing to go through crunch,
Its a whole other problem when It feels like everyone in the office is sitting on their thumbs.

Season 2 “roadmap” is a glorified ad, list me any info it provides that hasnt already been given about said content coming in s2. Themost we learned from it is that its once again 6 months and that forge and coop could be delayed even longer by them no longer having set dates

Idk about you guys, but I’m looking forward to Season 8 in 2031. We will finally have a total of 10 cores, 16 maps, and 14 modes

at this rate we don’t have 10 years of this. the 10 year “promise” is just a marketing lie and people still believe it. the game is performing sub-par and the revenue earned from it will dwindle even more over time. MS won’t allow this to go on for another 10 years if there is no big, big change that brings back players (highly doubt that)
stop believing these marketing lies. no 10 year plan has now been even close to have been realized.

If MCC set a precendent then were probably not going to get a massive overhaul of new content and fixes for 3 to 4 years. I just don’t know how you can justify taking 6 years to develop a game then release a bare bones model with updates every 6 months.
This is all on 343 in my view and I honestly hope the playerbase and money dries up in infinite. I honestly don’t know what to say anymore. By the time the money and players are gone it will be too late.

My guy they told us very little about season 3 like the stuff they listed is stuff they already told us about in the past
Also note how season 3 doesn’t have new weapons in it’s list so infection might not be in season 3 as its clear that they know the current weapon sandbox doesn’t fit the infection template because if it did we would’ve seen it by now and at this point it’s ridiculous on how slow they are being we shouldn’t have to wait 6 months for these seasons like the most we should have to wait is 4
Season 3 will have new Sandbox items per the roadmap.
Note how they said items that could mean anything with how its paired with a forge beta like if you really want to get technical they can add no new weapons,equipment etc and they would still fulfill that new sandbox items box because of forge alone ie scripts,object placement etc
What they should’ve listed was sandbox weapons and/or equipment because of course we’re going to see that part fulfilled with forge also what’s with them hiding the modes from us
Like at least tell us if a old game mode is going to return instead of lumping it in with other new modes
Like its getting REALLY hard to defend infinite
It’s possible that “new sandbox equipment” could be custom games only but i think it could add the classic shotgun FOR INFECTION ONLY because it will break this sandbox in any other way.

There is no chance no hell Halo will be relevant still in 2032.
The IP has maybe a year or two left and then once the player base has dropped to it’s skeleton numbers Microsoft will probably look at moving it to maintenance only.

Literally that’s the only reason i think infection isn’t in the game yet because they know the basic template wouldn’t work without a pump shotgun heck i wouldn’t mind it if it was just brought back just for infection and nothing else

I’m sorry but this argument about “at least it won’t burn everyone out,” makes zero sense to me.
Forge and co-op should have been launched with the game in December.
If they are burning out, its because they didn’t release a full and complete game and they are trying to do it post launch…and failing thus far.
At this point they should be working on QoL issues, cosmetics, next season deliverables, etc. But instead they are working on things that should have been done already. Like they are always behind the curve and that’s because they didn’t deliver a complete game or they had no idea what they were actually going to do post launch or both…
This game should have been delayed AT least another year.

Does it? It looks like some very vague “yeah we’ll add some stuff” to me.
If this roadmap isn’t proof that 343 is slow walking this game I don’t know what is. Don’t look at what they are saying look at their actions.
In one year we will have 2 new maps, a handful of new game modes, some bug fixes. Co op and single mission replays may come in August 8 months after campaign launched. Forge MAYBE will come next november 1 year after launch. If this game was a priority for 343 they wouldn’t be hiding behind a work life balance excuse.
When your back is to the wall and you are under fire you need all hands on deck. That doesn’t exist at 343 today, they take their time to slow walk and retroactively address issues they created or their lack of response created. Don’t get me wrong I liked the campaign, multiplayer etc but we waited 6 years to get a slightly better variant of the beta test from last year.
6 months seasons with little to no content is unacceptable. The lack of responses and urgency is unnaceptable. I hope things get better but based on what I have seen I think we will just be getting more of the same. 343 was never up or has risen to the occasion/challenge with infinite. I hope the money from this game dries up.
