I don’t understand why this wasn’t a choice since they got rid of individual armor selection and went with toes to shoulders presets for armors,
just a choice of 5-6 different undersuits like Osiris’ would give your Spartan IV a way to stand out instead of the sea of 2 armor pieces and a visor we have now,

In all honesty I don’t really mind the techsuit being a set color.

I think he means different patterns.
Like how/where the colored parts are.
I would like this very much, but they won’t make a black one.

I don’t just mean colors, i mean actually different techsuits, it’s already been established that MJOLNIR Gen II has a base techsuit and then specialized variants that are used in conjunction with other permutations,Fireteam Osiris all have different techsuits, it’s what makes their armor look so good in game.

Locke 1
Vale 1
Vale 2
Tanaka 1 Tanaka 2
(Blue team all use standard bodysuits since i think the MJOLNIR variants they use are older than Osiris’)
Obviously these are main characters and have a lot more detail put into them than multiplayer models, but that doesn’t mean we just having more bodysuits than base should be impossible.

That’s probably because you could never change it, it never looked any different in any of the other halo games until 5, and it was always put into the back seat in favor of permutations.
You not having thought or cared about it doesn’t really mean anything im afraid.
I just want a solid matte black undersuit so i look less like a power ranger. More tech suit options would be cool too (plus it makes Locke and Buck look less scrawny than our gaunt Multiplayer Spartans.)

I’ve changed armors twice in h5. Visual appearances don’t mean much to me

So you’re just reiterating the fact that it doesn’t matter what you think, no?
I would love to have different tech suits. They have different versions in the campaign (more importantly, versions that are black/dark grey), I fail to see why they would keep them as campaign exclusives.
