We should be grateful for the REQ system...

Looking at other AAA games, we are lucky.

Look at the most successful shooter, Cod.

It can be refined and improved. But it’s hell of a lot closer than CoD.

And believe me, I would rate the REQ system 7/10. It still needs to do a lot to appeal to all fans.

It’s certainly better than others, but regardless, it could still be improved. Personally, I’m indifferent to either side.

343 could just remove it altogether and I would be even more grateful.

I really don’t see the point of an RNG loot based system. The older Halos did fine without one, we just unlocked armor through completing certain tasks, you know, like all games used to do.

Now we either gotta grind hours upon hours to maybe get something we’ll like, or pay real money for a chance to get something we’ll like. The fact that there is no guarantee on what we get is what’s frustrating. Whether we grind all day or pay, it’s all random. It needs to go.

I think you are so right. We as gamers are spoiled. We want 5 different weapon types when EVERY past Halo only had 1 varriant per weapon except Halo 2 which had 2 plasma rifles. We need to stop demanding and just say “hey thank you for what you gave us!” Remember guys… Complete full games used to just be Campaign and that’s it… What he have is a gift…

Getting a prize (req pack) after each play session is fun. Just wish I didnt have to go on a major grind just to get my spartan to look my normal look.

This. And just because one’s worse doesn’t mean the other’s isn’t bad. This isn’t a dichotomy, OP.

Illusive isn’t the OP.

you sir ARE KOO KOO FOR COCO PUFFS. In game credit system like reach was WAYYYYY BETTER😁

I’m not going to be grateful for a RNG loot microtransaction system. It is probably the number 2 reason why Halo 5 released without many game modes, number 1 being Warzone. It is also the reason why I have no more faith in 343i or in Halo anymore. When a company is given a successful franchise, run it into the ground, and then use a microtransaction system to make money, you know they’ve dun goofed.
