We should be able to trade REQ points or REQs

I still dont understand why this hasnt happened. Ages ago when this was first brought up 343i mentioned things like magic the gathering inspired them to do a card system for earning unlockables. But you know what you can do with trading card games? Trade them Sell them. All the stuff we cant do now. I must ask, why is this? The game has been out for nearly a year and there are still plenty of new comers who could really use the help from those of us who already unlocked everything.

My friend for example just bought the game a few days ago as part of the older xbox bundle.
(It took three days for it to download…and her internet averages at 4.5Mbps so it’s certainly faster than even mine. Granted she would frequently play other games) but now she’s just starting with just a couple of beginner req packs and here I am sitting on what used to be 200k REQ points that I hardly ever spend (currently around 80k now because of the recent update, but still more than plenty enough for me.) so I want to know why if I have no intentions of using it, why cant I just share it with my friend who’s just starting? Why is it so hard for the community to be given the option to give each other help in a game that focuses 80% of itself on an RNG system?

Hell, it took forever but even Destiny finally added trade-able weapons. If we trade weapons it’ll just act as if it’s been used. If it’s a perm or a cert, we can just re-earn. No skin off my noise and not even a dent in my req supplies.

I wish I could answer that, but I have no idea. It would be awesome to be able to trade req cards. And I’ve said this before, but it would also help with the issue of req weapons being useless in firefight, since those of us who play it a lot could trade them for vehicles. You have my support!

That’s an amazing idea actually
I feel the same way
Already have everything unlocked and a plethora of req points that I don’t use

I am campaigning for them to add wildcards to the req system that would allow players to pick a specific req. I think that would be awesome. Great possibilities there.

Good Idea! Except for the Perma & Cert Part. You shouldn’t be able to trade/sell them. That would be a pretty dumb Move and u know why? Imagine I, every Req unlocked except some of the Anvil Cosmectic Stuff, will sell u my Phaeton Helios Cert or my Super Mythic Nornfang or H2BR Cert/Perm Unlock.
2 Games later, @ 10.000 ReqPoints, I get them instantly Back. It’s maybe cool or good for my Friend, but imagine even further… Smurf Accounts. What if some Champion thinks “hmm… I don’t like to challenge People of my Skill Level or with a similar ReqCard Pool”. He overwrites them to his Second Account, Lvl. 1 with not a Single Req, except the Mythics. He keeps buying GoldPacks & should get more and more Mythic Reqs, because at first he only have Mythics and not a Single other Cert. This would be plain and simple stupid and shouldn’t be allowed.
So - Single Reqs: Yes; Certs & Permas: No.

I suppose perms and certs can be exploited that way but yeah, singles and even REQ points should be tradeable.

I would like it as well. But there is no money in it for -Yoink!-, so that will not happen!!

I would like to trade reqs, I have a team and some players are better with different weapons/vehicles based on the positions they play and I cannot believe we can’t do this yet…

343, what say you…this would be a sweet addition to the game…help us out! Plz…

id like something like that actually because i really dont care too much more about them. i just buy them to say i have them but i don’t really use anything. i mostly play arena though. the last thing i REALLY wanted was the H2BR and i finally got that a few days ago.

You can call REQs in for your friends in-game.

But I get your point.

Same reason u can’t in destiny people could exploit it…someone could have a 2 day or 2 week trial get some good stuff on that and trade it to his main account for commons

Just req cards.

It would be great, some people have tons of req weapons that they don’t use.

Someone might have a bunch of snipers but never use them.
And they want some rockets or saws, trade for them.

Exactly this. Or if you have a surplus of just about everything and your friend has next to nothing, well. Sharing IS caring

Every new account gets 56 free cards+ all the intro dlc packs.

Packs I can recall getting some pretty good stuff from. What’s to stop someone from just making endless free accounts and transferring all those goodies over?
