We seem to be overlooking something...

I see so many thread about Halo 2 Anniversary (well duh of course) and Halo 3, the multiplayer of those two games, but I think there’s something we’re all overlooking… Halo Combat Evolved!

Halo CE has never had console multiplayer, so the MCC just about as huge for CE as it is for Halo 2! For the first time, we’re going to get to play Halo CE console online multiplayer with the revered 3-shot pistol, 60-round AR, ridiculously powerful Plasma Pistol, and more! I’m so excited.

So much hype around Halo 2 Anniversary, when this is absolutely HUGE for Halo CE as well!

I’m more excited for CE MP than the other games’ MP’s combined. And personally, I found M6D battles to be far more tense than BR battles.

I wonder, will it work similar to the PC version with the server list?

I think older fans will really appreciate Halo CE. I just think that most of the fans that are left, consist of mainly Halo 3 fans and some(still a good bit) Halo 2 fans. As much as I love Halo 2, I’m equally as excited to be playing online MP in CE on console. I’ve played CE PC, but it’s just not the same… I don’t think CE is getting overlooked, I just think it’s getting out voiced by the majority of current players that just simply haven’t played CE.

I thought halo CE was a good game and i system linked played it with friends to death. However, halo 2 and Halo 3 multiplayers were just more fun. I am a BR guy, not a 3 shot pistol guy. I know Halo CE has never been full on multiplayer but I will try my best to refrain from playing it, I will try to see nothing but halo 2 and halo 3.

I believe it’s being overlooked mainly because there isn’t really anything in CE that could be messed up by 343. That’s my understanding.

The only topic about CE’s multiplayer is the flamethrower, fuel-rod, rocket hog, and the banshees on the two maps.

I personally am very excited.

I don’t know what it is about CE’s simplistic design of its multiplayer, but it’s such a joy to play!

I know most of my time will be catching up on lost time with CE and 2, but I feel like I will play each game in the collection equally. You are right though the forgotten star here is definitely CE.

It surprised me as well, the lack of people freaking out. I remember when Reach was about to come out, it seemed like everyone was up CE’s butt, claiming it to be the multiplayer of the gods.

Don’t worry, I haven’t overlooked it. I’ve just been trying to contain myself.
Halo CE’s multiplayer was always more difficult to me than 2 or 3. I’m going to get the -Yoink- kicked out of me every game I play.
I can’t wait.

There’s just nothing to complain about or discuss.

Halo CE multiplayer is awesome and it’s even more awesome it’ll finally have online multiplayer!

Hence, the lack of threads about it!
