Should the Achilles Armor be placed into the standard REQ pool like the other armors were? Explain why if you think so or why not if you do not think so
Being honest, I already have Recon and haven’t used any other armor since. Let it rot.
No, it would make all the effort of companies wasted.
Sure, why not. For starters it would remove that taboo going around. You know, the one where the guy wearing it would suddenly get hated on for no real reason.
The downside, if you feel like calling it that, is everyone would whine about not having to “work” for it anymore because 343i just gave it to everyone (despite the fact it would be behind a million pieces of req pool filler junk), and that they “worked hard” for it like helioskrill.

I wouldn’t mind it just as a ‘-Yoink!-’ for the farmers.
Hell no. My company is earning it without farming that’s a ton of work. I don’t think people should be able to get it from a random pack. Keep the only earned armor the way it is.
No sir. They shouldn’t!
That is the ONLY thing we can actually grind to get.
You can grind to get the Mantle Emblem. That’s what I’m working on.
Hell no I want to keep the armor I EARNED.
I don’t care, it’s ugly either way.
It wouldn’t be very fair on the companies that farmed to get it, (ahem, I meant grinded not farmed).
It would be justice for all the victims of farming.
In all seriousness though, no, they shouldn’t, as there are thousands of people in companies working hard to earn it so to give it away randomly in req packs would not be right, (they should never have done that with Helioskrill in my opinion either)

Blow it out your - yoink - .
I earned my Fotus and it required more skill than that garbage!
Honestly i’m happy with my Scout armor so… yeah don’t really care for it.

Bungie eventually did that with the Recon Armor for Halo 3. Then in later installations (Reach and 4 and if you want to count ODST) players could unlock the armor at a certain rank. And now it’s a random pack of cards… yay… -_-

Did you get farmed is that why you’re angry my company earned this armor by not farming for -Yoink- but if it werent for those who did farm they are the ones to be blamed on why the armor set gets a bad rep so no if they put the armor in the req pool the grind of playing arena and warzone will be all gone because some people want it in the req pool.
I’m of the belief that the Achilles set should have never been tied to spartan companies. The armor and helmet should have been set to unlock upon completion of all enemy, vehicle, weapon, and multiplayer commendations. I could also see game mode commendations being a requirement, but in that case most people wouldn’t be able to unlock the armor because of breakout.
In Homer’s “The Iliad,” Achilles son of Peleus was one man whose anger couldn’t be quenched. Wearing gleaming armor forged by Hephaestus on Mount Olympus, he brutally murdered many soldiers in the battle of Troy and even slain Hector in revenge for killing his best friend. Having an armor set based off of a hero of Greek mythology was a great idea, but not being able to unlock it by yourself is a huge let down.

Absolutely. I don’t like the idea of needing 99 active people to play Halo 5 in order to unlock the thing in a timely fashion. It’s an ugly armor set, but I’d like the 100% completion.
Your idea sounds great. Gives Commendations more meaning.
My company, and thousands of others, have tried too hard for too long for it to be just given away. That is a big no no
