If you ever look at your forums 343 we are asking you to put visible ranks. the only reason i play multiplayer is to have fun while trying to be the highest rank out of my friends. I dont really know if this whole rank thing is true but hopefully it isnt. online gaming is about competition and having fun while competing. but we cant do that with out a balanced visible leveling system.

So much wrong with this thread.
…I dont play the game to really “better” my friends. I try to coordinate with them…strategize…display some awesome teamwork to complete a common goal.

So how many games do you play online with xbox that actually have a skill based ranking system showing?

Halo 2 and 3… Hell, even Reach had Arena

What we need is skill based match making and hopefully we have that. We don’t need visual skill ranks, it would have been nice, but its not necessary.
It is only a “want” but the skills system in Halo 3 made me play so much more just to get it up… I just play reach casually and have very little to no drive to play it…
