We need to talk about hitboxes!!

Normally, when someone dies in a MP game, the enemy member either hit you in the leg, arm, torso, head, etc

Now, this seems to apply in most MP I’ve played, but not in Halo 4.

In Halo 4, the hitbox for my head is three feet above it, while the hitbox for the torso, legs is three feet to the left, and right of my character

I’ve died from people shooting the air around me

Needs to be SERIOUSLY addressed. This game was made for total noobs in mind, clearly. Anyone can get a ‘headshot’ in this game…its ridiculous!!

If you are basing it off killcams then that isn’t correct.

Yeah according to the killcams my head is embedded in the ground, the wall, the ceiling and also the enemy’s foot.

I agree with the concept here, but it has nothing to do with hitboxes. Hitboxes have always been the size of the player. There isn’t a hitbox outside of the player. It is all bullet magnetism, and it is pretty freaking strong in this game.

Yeah the hitboxes are messy, like today I missed a guy with the sniper (my reticule was like a mile from his head) and he still died, and then another game I swipe shotted someone with my DMR lol (not a halo 2 level one but still…)

I appreciate what people are saying about killcams, but from my own experience killing the enemy, I can sorta just aim in the general direction and get the kill if I keep at it long enough
