People tell me we need a quit ban to prevent their games having their fun ruined by quitters. Well, I agree with that mindset, which is why we need a suck ban. Whenever a teammate goes too negative they should be kicked out of the game and not be allowed to play for a day. Them going that negative is making experience suffer and hindering my enjoyment of the game I paid for. Please implement this right away!

That sounds like a You problem. Not every player is a casual Halo player or a sweater. Some players start Halo and want to learn. You are only distancing newcomers for the sake of your own selfish enjoyment. Wink

Learn how the game works? Imagine you learning a new game and they kick you out because you don’t have the mechanic’s common sense. What kind stupid code to kick players that have negative kda.
Consistent suicide is more predictable than just being outplayed by a better opponent. Whatever you want is just to cut players off because it doesn’t work out for you.

we should also go in the other direction and implement a “good ban” as when you are playing well it’s likely that the enemy is not having a good time and because you have honed your skills already you should be forced to take a break for the rest of the day after achieving a certain K/D

A vote to quit as a team and surrender is one thing. A vote to ban someone isn’t even out call. Too many reasons for one’s bad game. New player, bad day, or just outmatched. As a player, this community is too toxic to make choices on who stays in the game and who leaves. If 343i allowed us to vote who leaves and gets a ban, this game’s population would die out much faster.

So all a sudden you control how players play? There is already a designated tutorial for all players to join. Besides that, its a free-to-play game. You can only guide the player.
One day you’ll be playing against players better than you. Then they vote you out and you get banned for a day.

This is ridiculous. Sorry not everyone has a good game or day, sometimes you’re just bad, doesn’t mean they should be banned. And since this game tries to make people play of similar skill level then on average you’re about the same in skill. I did terrible in one match, someone complained at me, the next match it was completely different with him being last and me being top, he still complained though.

Also a “You did something to impede my challenge progress ban” for example: i need stalker kills but a teammate took the stalker rifle.
Banned minimum 1 month no appeal.

Surely instead of banning players the real answer is fix the SBMM instead of dividing the player base even further and excluding people just because they aren’t at the same tier as you. I play with my best friend and he ain’t the best. But I wouldn’t stop playing with him or ask for him to be banned just because he isn’t that good. This is most certainly a You problem.
