We need the flood back in our lives.

Oh, how I miss my sweet, sweet flood. The flood, the only reason Halo was rated M. Now they have left us behind and moved on to better ESRB ratings.

The only reason why I made this topic is because when Halo 5’s rating was announced, my first gut reaction was “no flood confirmed.”

However, I do miss my flood buddies. Having them in the MCC isn’t the same. We need new flood. Here’s to hoping my flood buddies find their way back to Halo.

For those of us that always hated the flood, this is your fault. They only wanted to consume the universe and you had to go ahead and ridicule them for it. They did nothing wrong and now you pushed them away. I demand 343i write an apology letter begging for the flood’s return into our lives. You won’t accept it now but understand that you all need the flood.

This was supposed to be a more light-hearted post amongst the negativity before release. Also, praise the gravemind.

Please no

The flood are gone. Along with Bungie. Accept it.

More Flood, you say?

I’m assuming you didn’t actually read the post. It’s not meant to be taken seriously.

Sad but true…

This I was not expecting.

Why? It is known that there are parts of the galaxy where the Flood still exist, such as research platforms in Halo 2 and on some Halo rings, among other places. The Flood were some of the best enemies in Halo, certainly better than the bullet-sponge Prometheans. Just because Bungie is gone, doesn’t mean the Flood can’t be in the game. So no, I won’t accept it.

You. I like you.

They should add a flood mode infection in multiplayer

No, no we do not. The flood were annoying beyond belief.

They couldn’t have been more annoying than knights and watchers.

I am scarred by the flood lol

Bring on the flood! I’ll mulch them all! Haha.

3 games in a row with flood is enough to make me tired of them completely

The Flood aren’t gone. At all.

Sorry to those who don’t like the Flood, but…

At the very end of Halo: Escalation issue #6, it shows the UNSC Spirit of Fire (the Halo Wars ship) floating through space. It then shows a cryo chamber inside, where an infection form passes through.

I think they’ll be back. They’re pretty important to the overall story.

LOL at anyone who would rather fight prometheans than the flood

I have faith that if 343 re-introduces the flood they will do a very good job of making them terrifying and fun to play against

There is flood stil, go look at the halo rings in halo 3 on the covenant level. your see one ring that is flood in color , that ring is still out there , hasnt been found. Now in the gred bear novels that ring is described to have multiple graveminds on it. Also there is still alot of unknown about the flood, like they are connected to the precursers ect. So no the flood are still out there and i have no doubt that at some point in time we will see them again in a halo game. id imagine they will leave it until they figure out a way for them to feel fresh to fight gameplay wise. but yeh i do hope they come back, they make every other big threat feel meh

Not until after this trilogy or the very end of this one. The major threat is the prometheans and forrunners in this trilogy.
