I really want to see some legit maps made specifically for BTB not as many forge maps.

That would be insane if they made a remake of that map.
343 is afraid to put effort and money into Big Team. They want to make sure people don’t play it over their microtransaction machine… I mean warzone.

Adding 2 seconds does nothing except give you a little rest before the next player or the player you just killed shows up so you can kill them.

I have played more than 10 games of swat I know what you are saying but since the maps are already made I dont see how they can fix it. I also know that the CSR ranks are broken as well.

So why did you say adding 2 more seconds to the spawn timer fixed it? Anyone who’s played SWAT since the “update” knows that nothing has changed.
Bottom line is that 343 does a -Yoink- job at map design. Ironically SWAT is the easiest game to design maps for b/c there are no power weapons, load outs, etc. If you can’t figure out how to deploy SWAT then don’t offer it.

343 isn’t trying to fix anything. It’s not like they launched SWAT in a vacuum. The spawn killing was known before release and immediately reported afterwards. It took players one game after the update to see nothing had changed except the game now lasts a little longer.
The only way to fix SWAT is to release maps designed for that game play or fix the existing ones. Easiest way is add barriers to break up the line of sight on the spawn points. Bungie did this in Destiny on a couple of their maps where players figured out the spawn spots.
Whether 343 is apathetic and/or incompetent to fix basic map design flaws it still results in disappointment for the game.

I would be completely Ok with 1 sec spawns if they make the maps bigger for Arena, I mean the maps if it was regular arena is fine, but for SWAT, there need to be something else to go with it.

Me, too. The spawn timer was never the issue. Line of sight to spawn locations need to be blocked, maps need to be bigger and while they’re at it. go back to a load out instead of only offering BR or Magnums.
If we have larger maps then we could have choices:
Large maps: DMR/BR
Small maps: BR/Magnum
