what exactly do you mean by open world maps? because we have have a few completely empty, flat maps in halo 5 forge. specifically parallax, tidal, barrens, and what ever that under water one was. the tidal map has served almost every purpose I’ve needed.
I mean someone re-created “Forge world” from Halo Reach in Halo 5 I don’t know if thats what you want but theres that.

oh so just maps that were made in forge. I thought you meant the preset maps 343 gives us. if you want open maps for custom games try searching for some old halo maps or campaign areas that were remade like valhalla, blood gulch, and side winder. if you want to see some original maps maybe just typed open in the tags section of the content browser.
here’s a few I’ve made but most of them aren’t as amazing as a lot of other forgers out there. some of my better ones aren’t as open. some of these aren’t super open or huge but more so than most custom maps.
- expedition - halo wars btb - winter bliss - liberation - paradox - resurrectionas for other large/open maps that I didn’t make I went ahead and searched up a few that might be recognizable
- viking (valhalla) - basically sidewinder - reminiscent (based on second level from halo ce) - forge world - avalanche - toy landand then there’s the warzone maps that were glitched into the custom browser or something. most only work with warzone gamemodes because of the base shields but there’s a few that work with slayer and infection. they aren’t player made but they’re fun for infection, here’s a few

you can probably alter some in forge if they don’t meet your needs. except for the warzone ones which don’t work in forge. there’s a video somewhere on youtube if you want to play warzone gamemodes in custom games
