343 please create new armor or armor effects. Its been getting really boring using all the same stuff. I also think that when someone finaly has 100% armor completion they should be able to buy the haunted helmet.
It’s a FPS game you should really quit if not having new armour is making you bored of thhe game lol.
What will happen when 343 doesn’t release an armor DLC? Will the game crash? Will the world end?
It probably sounds like I’m upset, but I’m really not. I’m just putting things into perspective. Reach “needs” many things, and new armor isn’t on that list. Sure, it would be cool to have something new, but “need” is not the right word. “Could use” or “wouldn’t hurt”, maybe…
Just keep on keeping on. There’s a bazillion possible combinations, and I know for a fact you haven’t tried them all.
They couldnt add new armor even if they wanted to, it would require recoding the entire game and then de-bugging all over again. Just wait till Halo 4 mate. Armor doesn’t really matter… man i miss the days of Halo CE and Halo 2 where you could only change armor color…

I’m not sure that’s true. Other games add similar DLC constantly (i.e. Dragon Age, Forza), and while the size of the packs are usually pretty significant, they’re not impossibly large, as Bungie claimed a new armor pack would be. I would much prefer if 343 simply came out and said: “We’re working on Halo 4, and we don’t have the time to create new armor for Reach.” That would be easy and straightforward, and I would appreciate the candidness.
what we need is an option to search for players with DLC in any playlist, because playing the Anniversary gametypes are killing me. I want to sign into Default BTB and just play with people that have the maps from Noble, Defiant, or the Anniversary.
YEah, i wonder wwhat people did before with halo 1, halo 2, halo 3. Lets see halo 1 and 2 was pretty much “Can i have new color please?”

Not all games are made the same way.
They can’t add new armor unless it’s already in the game’s script, they would have to release a whole new disk with the game on it, and a patch for Reach players without the disk. Similar to what happened with ODST when it was released. A hassle, too much money, not enough profit. A lot of games actually make the “DLC” ahead of time and it’s already on your disk, you just don’t have access to it. Gears 3 is an example of that and it’s the easiest way. It’s just impossible with Halo.
Besides, they need full effort on Halo 4 now. Go forth my brothers! Bring us the next awesome Halo!
