We need Marty for Halo 6

So, we’ve now had two Halo games without Marty running the soundtrack, it was nice little detour, Halo 5 had a couple of great pieces, but I’m ready for Marty to come back.
Does anyone know what he’s doing now?

I heard that he created a game studio with some other developers called Highwire Games (I think).

Found an article about it after a few minutes of searching in my house.

Highwire games, which consists of Marty O’ Donnell, Jamie Griesemer, and others (who have worked on games like Destiny, Halflife, Halo (obviously), and Infamous: Second Son), is creating a Playstation VR game called Golem. It’s a very different style of game where you are a girl named Twine who is paralyzed. At night you can move giant Golems around and search an abandoned city.

I haven’t heard the H5 ost but Marty’s old works are legendary.

Nobody loves Marty O’Donnell more than I do. I have every single note of every single cut from every single Halo soundtrack he ever penned. But that was then and this is now. I was perfectly prepared to be seriously dissatisfied with Davidge and then with Jinnouchi. But they both turned in some extremely credible work for Halo 4 - maybe not as cohesive as if it had come from a single source - but credible nonetheless. Halo 5 solved the cohesion issue, and while it may not have quite as many “wow” moments as Halo 4, or any of the Marty soundtracks, it’s still solid work. I’m good with Jinnouchi.
