It’s not a question, and there’s no other way around it, this is Halo music in it’s most recent form and it NEEDS to be in Halo 6. 343, you are lying to yourselves if you think that Halo 4’s and 5’s OST were good enough, because they weren’t. This is coming from someone who has enjoyed Kazuma’s past work, and “The Trials” was very good but there just isn’t enough of that feel to go around. I know there are some that like the new OST’s, but the community majority knows it needs it’s identity back. The fact that I even have to make this post is a bit ridiculous, not everything has to be changed. You already changed Masterchief’s armor drastically, and just about everything else, we get it, you guys are putting your own spin on the series, but at least make it so that it is at the very least a tiny bit recognizable as a Halo title. I know I sound like a needy -Yoink-, but that should just show how much I care about this franchise, and there are a lot more like me, SO PLEASE put the music back in. I mean, it’s right at your very finger tips, just make the right decision for Halo 6, 343, because I cannot sit by and watch my beloved series fall from it’s grace any longer…
Would definitely agree that Halo 4’s and Halo 5’s OSTs are bland sauce, but straight up copy-pasting an old soundtrack is pretty lazy.
Also, for the most part to me Halo 2’s original soundtrack is better than the ‘remastered’ version, where they just heavily altered songs, if not outright replaced them at times.
I strongly agree. I could listen to ‘In Amber Clad’ now and it would literally bring a tear to my eye because of how much nostalgia is packed in that song.
I think they need to bring back cellos and violins instead of all the brass that was used in Halo 5
I hated Halo 2’s ost. At least Halo 5’s orchestral overtones were familiar rather than blasted rock remixes.
I thoroughly enjoyed halo 4 and 5s music. I hope they don’t get lazy and copy/paste a soundtrack from a different game.
I would like to have some classic music in new halo, even if its the remastered one. I prefer the actual classic soundtracks but hey im good with this to!
The halo 5 ost was quite solid imo. Odst was my favorite, def set the mood really well.
