Also instead of having seperste modes with fiesta, just give us the option to make their weopons random like in Reach… Cmon Guys
Action Sack and Action Sack Objectives would solve a lot of issues.

Exactly!
Double team!

Yep
We need a Custom Game Browser!
Personally, I just need Infection and Warzone to be happy, but I can understand why everyone wants the other gametypes too. Hopefully 343 will implement those soon.
action sack please
Don’t really need fiesta infection, they just need to give us the option to make primary and/or secondary weapons random.

This.
But honestly unless they implement every game mode to ever be in a Halo game there will always be someone who will complain that their individual need wasn’t met. So really it’s a no win proposition.
Oddball on Truth would be epic.

Yeah personally I think It’s a win situation for the sane and rational players like us that understand and have the common sense to know that of course 343 can’t add every game mode that has ever been in the Halo series, but they can at least add more utilizing the game modes they already have in the game. But the thing is, they don’t even bother doing that. When they announced 5 game modes and then said that two were only available in Customs, I thought it was a joke. When they actually did it, I just shook my head as it confirmed that they are either afraid or to incompetent to make permanent play lists that we have been asking for since launch.

Forge wasn’t here at launch, so there is no way that any of those gametypes would have been there at launch.

I get the whole ‘this should have been here at launch’ argument and I agree with it. But 7 months later this argument is just no longer valid. It’s here today and now. And if people really did leave because it wasn’t there before, they have no excuse to not come back. And if they aren’t coming back then either 1 - they are just being vindictive and 2 - they probably would have stopped playing by now anyway.
I think this was really a strategy to lengthen the game life and try to get people to give gametypes like Breakout and Warzone a shot. I don’t think it was as incompetent or sinister as some here would have us try to believe. My hope is that the experiment didn’t work and there is a realization that there are core game experiences the community expects on launch day.

Don’t even bother anymore with this game they don’t care. Just hope it will be in halo 6. But expect this. Every time I was excited for a new halo game to come out thinking it was going to be the game that will fix everything. Learn from the tremendous mistakes that were made. Bring back halo to its former glory right back at the top sitting in its rightful throne. I was met with this.
PURE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Do you mean the rotating weekend/weekly play lists? Because people are asking for permanent play lists. Like you said, it’s been 7 months. Incompetent, scared, lazy, or don’t want to add permanent play lists. Which one is it? Again, Action Sack/Objectives would fix the issue for a lot of players if they would simply add the already available game modes to it.
And I believe that BTB was delayed mostly to try and get people to play Warzone. It’s probably the same reason BTB has zero developer made maps. Because if that’s not the reason for the lack of maps, what is, other than they really just don’t care about BTB? I don’t believe it’s because of a lack of resources, when they have made maps for other modes. Are we to believe they couldn’t have made at least one map for BTB?
And why release modes and only make them available in customs initially? Throw them in Action Sack/Objectives if you’re afraid the population has fallen so much that it can’t handle it.
Also, you only get one chance to make a first impression. Releasing a game with a weak(In My Opinion) campaign, and hardly any game modes, and then wonder why people have moved on and didn’t come back weeks/months later?
Dunno how many different times I have to explain why their sustain plan is stupid.
Say I’m playing Arena and I get burnt out and just want to relax. Now I can play Infection, I can play BTB, I can play Griffball…options are available, options that keep me from simply turning off the game and doing something else.
At launch? The only option people had was Warzone, and -Yoink- me if that mode isn’t just downright tedious with the way it’s designed. “Oh, that weapon you used to just grab at your base? Yeah, now you need to grind for several hours to obtain it, then wait until the match is halfway over to actually use it.”
Limiting options then releasing them over time doesn’t keep people playing your game, it does the exact opposite.
Yeah… I don’t know why 343i choose to cut Gametype like… in Half… But it’s not only the Gametypes, it’s the whole Playlists! Say Swat for Example… In Guardians we have “Team Swat” (BR) “DMR Swat” & “Swatnums”. Yesterday I played the Collection. I not only found Games faster (in Swat), no, I could play Team Swat, Swat CtF, Swat KotH, H3 Pistol Swat & Swatball! It was just superior in so many Ways. I don’t know, why 343i choose just to go only for the Slayer Type in Halo 5: Guardians, but this Viarity was just so much fun… I mean, most Modes are there. We could play Swatball & Swat CtF (I don’t think Swat with this other Objective Type in Guardians would play well…), but 343i thinks otherwise… Sadly.

I’m not saying it wasn’t a stupid move. But it was an attempt. And considering our societies shift to always move to the next new thing, I understand the attempt.
They were just wrong. Again, we don’t know what the player population is. We just assume from unrelated factors (again I’ve still not seen this top 10 most played list people talk about. I’m still trying my google machine).
As far as why they don’t do the things you ask…hell if I know. I’m not privileged to be an employee. Again I’m sure there are reasons other than just being a-holes and not giving the people what they’ve asked for. So really with all your questions my simple answer is…beats me.
Again, I just feel like if players aren’t coming back because THEIR gametype wasn’t at launch then they probably would have stopped and “moved on” already by now anyway. Kind of the ADHD society we have right now.
