We need custom games servers, there are way to much mini games and competitive arena maps that a lot of people can’t experance. I’ve played them and a lot of them are just amazing and I know a lot of people that would want to play them but they don’t have any one to play them with. How are these servers posable, well if you ever played battlefield 4 people are aloud to buy dedicated servers that are in match making another example of this is Minecraft on PC. These servers don’t give you req points there just for fun. Me personally I think custom games is just as fun as arena and war zone and many others agree. Plus 343 made an amazing forge mode now they just need to put it to its full potential. Another good reason is that those servers mean more in game content and more content the better over all replayability of the game. This is why halo 5 needs custom games servers.

I agree, and I’ve been saying something like this myself since at least MCC if not before. (pretty sure I even started a thread on this somewhere.
However, every time the idea has been put on the table,it has been shot down on many occasions because people believe that either matchmaking can work fine (top kek), this isn’t want people want for Halo (was said when I put the idea forth) or that it would somehow kill something in the game.
As much as I’d like to see it get implemented, this community seems to be rather fine with a sub-par matchmaking system and seems to think it can serve every niche.
That said, this is the one thing that could make people want to play Halo more, since many don’t seem comfortable/able to make custom games on their own.
