WE NEED Consol only matchmaking or stonger anti cheat

My concern is theatre not catching the fast snap. Would it capture a quick snap and back to where the reticle originally was. Being as fishy as the recording is to begin with

We shall see I the near future how they plan to address this. If they even do anything.

but even with differing levels of Aim Assist the skill gap is still there regardless since all controller players are playing within the same rules and boundaries set by each game developer. The gaps in controller skill in halo 2 and 3 where some of the biggest skill gaps i have ever seen. They all had AA but its all an even playing field so skill gaps exist.

Skill gaps are harder to see on pc vs controller because they have different strengths and weeknesses. controller has smoother analog movement leading to good consistency, mnk has faster movement, better accuracy (especially for first few shots) and better recoil control. Which is why they dominate games like csgo, battlefield, and many many more. On top of that its not all even in pc community with diff pc builds diff peripherals ect.

Some games landing a 360 no scope from across the map on a mouse is easy and maybe even common, but to do the same on a controller may take a lot of skill. The handicap of a controllers worse accuracy slower speed and bad recoil control is part of the skill gap, and cannot be done with simply Aim assist.

ya, controller would be pretty bad with no aim assist. and halos is pretty low as is. the Aim assist main function that is needed is the sensitivity drop while on target. Which is like having a 7 sensitivity drop to 3-4 when on target, which controllers NEED because accuracy with high sensitivity is impossible on a tiny joystick Aim Assist also has magnetism, which makes hit boxes bigger, but thats not Aim Assist exclusive and is on mnk in most games.

the part most mnk users latch onto with Aim assist is in fact its most useless and annoying part “Tracking”. Which tracking only happens when an enemy first runs by and gives a slight tug then drops off, if u are in a fight and an enemy runs by, it will screw u over, imagine shooting a real gun and before u pull the trigger someone pushes ur gun to the left. IF u stand COMPLETELY still tracking will stay on longer. But standing still u die. also the tracking is WAY TO SLOW to stay on a target to actually hit. they can remove that for all i care.

so AA is basically a low sensitivity on demand. to help with the lack of full arm control. MNK would be just as bad if u took away some of its features to “balance” inputs. Like adding recoil and capping turn speed to match controller in games.

K/D Ratio / Win % / Kda / Avg. Damage. most relevant IMO maybe you could include deaths.

The controller is a different skill set. crosshair placement, movement, and aiming mostly with the left joystick are probably the most important things controller players should focus on to improve their mechanics.

I don’t get your strafing point. I can mash A.D.A.D super fast its not going to do anything. just going to twitch fast. Not going to do anything to get value. the cadence and rhythm of A and D is how you get value and randomly drop a crouch in there. even with travel time I have seen Onyx controller players break my aim no problem. while my strafe does nothing due to their crosshair placement being good and AA does the rest. So IDK, where you are trying to go with this like MnK has a strafe advantage.

End of the day regardless of our opinion on differences they need to separate inputs for ranked.

Ya if we were talking about player skill then yes. i would agree that those are more important. but go back and re read what was being discussed. and what has been discussed many times over in other threads with the person. It wasnt skill, it was controller (AA)

the stats i mentioned were in reference to aim assist and how it supposivly makes controller take no skill and how it holds your hand. And that no one takes it seriously. So by pointing out that his mnk accuracy is higher than his own controller accuracy, a pros, accuracy, and a very good non pro players accuracy. That maybe its possible that AA doesnt hold your hand as much as he says, and might actually require skill. BECAUSE if it did controller would always win in accuracy. Accuracy is a good stat to check when its calling AA a soft aim-bot basically.

THATS my point. in HALO the keyboards normal advantage of faster strafe or more commonly, cover based peek shooting is not of use in halo. BECAUSE halos strafe speed is built around the controllers speed, it even has its own delay. Aim assist not being why controllers do better, its how halo plays, slow speed, 0 recoil, ect that fits a controller and DOESNT make use of the advantages of KBM like other games.

there is 1 thing i know for sure and that is there is no strong anti cheat software that will work since cheaters always find way’s to bypass it.

so the only thing is and what has been told all before launch of matchmaking is to add a turn on/off option for crossplay or remove crossplay for good.

You’re right. Competitive controller shooters really are laughed at nowadays. They’re a joke.

I hate that I’m forced to play this with controller to stand a chance. It’s certainly going to be the reason I inevitably move onto something else.

Focus on the topic people. Crossplay has brought in not only big time cheaters, it’s brought in Hacker’s also with PC. Not to mention they are forcing Console players to play with Pc and M&K which have a great advantage over Console players. If you don’t agree anything that makes you faster is an advantage. They force Console players because we can’t find games without opening up Crossplay and their are plenty of Console players to find games I search with 8 every day and still we’re forced to play with PC and open M&K. Also the lag that happens when playing with a PC player or opening it up for Console players also gives an advantage to the PC players due to higher FPS. It doesn’t work together. It’s made the game miserable for Console players.

Who wants to play against pc players??? they need to just have their own little circle pc players and let them cheat and sweat on each other , I had this with warzone its just pointless let console players play themselves, nobody wants to play pc players let them all just rot and cheat on each other together , pc players are lucky they have the privilege of playing halo should be a console exclusive in my opinion but the fact pc have the tools to cheat and console dont and matching them with each other is just stupid and pointless

To be fair, he never once said anything about input method. He could be a console player that uses MNK for all you knew. But your first response was to berate over controllers out of nowhere and completely out of context. If you’re going to be a troll, get better at it.

Halo NEEDS to stay on PC and Xbox. Hell no lets not go back to Halo only being a console shooter. However, Crossplay needs much stricter regulations or a more solid Anti-Cheat system in place.
